Title: IT Logistics Operations Engineer (LOE)

Full‑time | Permanent Position. Become part of one of the top 3 automation companies in the world! Our client is looking to expand their team with an IT Logistics Operations Engineer (LOE).

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage software systems (WCS, WMS, PLC, SCADA) and associated hardware
  • Ensure disaster recovery procedures
  • Identify and analyze root causes of problems for systems and IT issues
  • Handle incident, problem and change management, support the software repair process through investigation
  • Increase the stability of IT systems
  • Support the engineering/maintenance team during breakdown, repair and maintenance activities
  • Define a series of best practices

Qualifications

  • Dynamic prioritization of workload and tasks based on current business needs
  • Comfort with working flexible hours
  • Team player while able to work independently with a high level of responsibility
  • Good knowledge of Linux operating systems (command line interface, performance, log analysis, release deployment)
  • Proficiency in SQL (DML, DDL, TCL) and SQL Developer
  • Experience with PL/SQL
  • Able to read C++ and modify simple code snippets
  • Debugging skills and hands‑on experience with Oracle databases
  • Willingness to learn and develop professionally
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage with customers and colleagues in Austria
  • English language proficiency
  • Enthusiastic to learn even if all requirements are not fully met – junior profiles are very welcome
