Role context

Inside the "Logistics and Operations Engineering” department in Rome, we are looking for an ILS Engineer. The department deals with the study, development and validation of operational and maintenance analysis, processes and procedures for complex satellites ground segment systems. Activities are carried out following the standards applied to the space programs (mainly ECSS) and, where necessary, with the support of architectural frameworks (e.g. DoDAF, MoDAF, ...) and international best practices (e.g. ASD, S1000D, S3000L).

Responsibilities

  • Study of the architecture of ground segments
  • Analysis and derivation of logistic & RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety) requirements
  • Dependability plan and analysis (RAM prediction, FMEA/FMECA)
  • Safety plan and analysis (Safety analysis report, Hazard Analysis, FTA (Fault Tree Analysis))
  • Support to Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) execution, with particular attention to the definition of maintenance concepts and related maintenance tasks
  • Quantitative analysis of spare parts

Job requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering
  • At least 2 years of experience
  • Sound knowledge of RAMS analysis
  • Sound knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support
  • Good knowledge of the English language (B1)
  • MS-Office knowledge
