Job Overview
A Rental Sales Agent assists customers in fulfilling their rental needs and promotes Avis Budget Group products and services. The role involves contract preparation, payment processing, providing pricing and policy information, check‑in and check‑out of vehicles, vehicle inspection, and upselling additional products and services. A successful candidate must have excellent customer service and sales skills and thrive in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and listen to their needs to assess the best rental options.
- Process rental contracts and payments, providing information on rates, policies, and vehicle availability.
- Upsell additional products and services such as insurance coverages and GPS navigation systems.
- Explain final charges, clarify with customers, and archive signed contracts.
- Provide assistance and information on the planned trip.
- Accurately file records and complete documents.
- Handle daily back‑office activities (email, station reports).
- Manage customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Ensure that safety and protection protocols are always followed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Previous experience in sales or customer service, preferably in car rental, retail, or hospitality, 1–2 years.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Availability for flexible working hours, including weekends (shifts run Monday – Sunday 07:00–24:00 with one or two days off per week).
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team‑oriented approach.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and achieve results in a dynamic setting.
- Friendly, optimistic, and proactive attitude.
Benefits
- Part‑time contract, 20 hours per week, fixed term until the end of October (shifts Monday – Sunday 07:00–24:00).
- Annual salary of €15,307.
