Junior PM - Construction

Taylor Hopkinson, on behalf of an international Independent Power Producer (IPP) operating in the renewable energy sector, is looking for a Junior Project Manager to join the Construction team.

The selected candidate will support the Senior Project Manager throughout the full construction cycle of renewable energy plants, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Project Manager during all project phases, from planning to commissioning.
• Assist in the coordination of construction activities, monitoring schedules, budgets, and progress.
• Contribute to the preparation of project documentation, reports, and presentations.
• Liaise with engineering, procurement, and on‑site construction teams.
• Support the management of contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Help ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) policies and standards.
• Participate in project meetings and support communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in identifying risks and tracking issues during project execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• 1‑3 years of experience in project management or construction, ideally within the renewable energy.
• Solid organisational and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Proactive, flexible, and able to work both independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication skills in English (other languages are an advantage).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites.
