The Job

My client is looking for a MongoDB DBA to join their growing consultancy team in Rome, Italy. In this role, you will work on a variety of projects, from building new solutions to handling large-scale migrations. You will take ownership of database performance, replication, and sharding strategies, ensuring optimal configurations and efficient operations. About You

You are an experienced DBA with a strong MongoDB background, comfortable with high-performance database operations and optimization. You enjoy tackling complex database challenges and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in MongoDB database management, including manual builds, replica set configurations, and sharded clusters.
• Experience with NoSQL databases beyond MongoDB is a plus.
• Proven ability to fine-tune performance, implement optimal solutions, and manage upgrades.
• Comfortable working independently and challenging the norm to improve database efficiency.
