  • Ensure full compliance with ECSS standards and customer requirements during test execution
  • Prepare and review test documentation: Test Procedures, Test Reports, and Logbooks
  • Monitor test parameters, collect and analyze data, and report anomalies or deviations
  • Support test preparation activities: integration of units under test (UUT), instrumentation setup, and safety checks
  • Collaborate with AIT, Product Assurance, and Engineering teams to define test plans and resolve issues
  • Maintain and calibrate testing equipment, ensuring readiness and compliance with calibration schedules
  • Support external audits and customer inspections in the test facility
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing procedures and facility operations

Requirements

  • Technical diploma or degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or related disciplines
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in environmental testing within the aerospace sector
  • Strong knowledge of ECSS standards and space test methodologies (vibration, thermal vacuum, thermal cycling, EMC)
  • Experience with data acquisition systems, sensors (thermocouples, accelerometers, pressure sensors), and instrumentation software
  • Familiarity with test procedure writing, data analysis, and report generation
  • Hands-on experience with flight hardware handling, ESD protection, and cleanroom operations
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
  • Good command of English (written and spoken)
  • Driving license: category B

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Small Satellite programs or ESA/ASI projects
  • Certification or training in environmental testing or space AIT operations
  • Knowledge of safety standards and facility maintenance for test environments
