Responsibilities

  • Draft, negotiate, and advise on a wide range of agreements, including media and creative services, creative content, technology licenses, data processing and influencer partnerships.
  • Support the business on complex projects, ensuring legal compliance while maximizing commercial opportunities.
  • Advise on legal trends in social media, e-commerce, data privacy, AI and intellectual property.
  • Assist in organizing and preparing for board meetings, including drafting agendas, taking minutes, and ensuring follow-up on action points. Maintain and update corporate records, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, external counsel, and global legal team to develop and implement effective legal strategies.
  • Oversee legal aspects of client pitches, negotiations, and potential litigation.

Qualifications

What you'll need:

  • Relevant experience: 3-4 years pre-qualified experience in a recognized commercial law firm and preferably in-house, with a focus on media, technology, or creative industries is desirable.
  • Great communication skills: Ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly and effectively to commercial teams and clients.
  • Commercial understanding: ability to align legal strategies with commercial goals.
  • Collaborative team player: A strong relationship builder with excellent interpersonal skills.
