Overview

Join to apply for the Supply Planner role at Bolton.

Bolton Food is a fast-moving consumer goods company with a global footprint. This role is based in Milan, Italy, and reports to the Supply Planning Manager of Bolton Food.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive supply plans at weekly and monthly levels, ensuring optimal use of resource capacity, maximizing market availability, and re-balancing capacity allocation based on demand evolution.
  • Collaborate with production plants to monitor production execution and drive decisions in case of disruption in the plan.
  • Lead S&OE routines for own production lines and/or markets, coordinating with involved stakeholders to ensure effective planning; support the S&OP cycle with KPIs, analyses and insights.
  • Analyze stock levels and quality to minimize slow movers and obsolescence risks while optimizing inventory levels and policy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (demand planning, marketing, production, logistics, procurement) on innovation and continuous improvement projects to ensure timely delivery.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to build and maintain complex supply planning models, generate accurate reports, and develop new dashboards/tools to support the team where possible.
  • Monitor supply chain performance KPIs to identify potential disruptions in advance and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in supply planning or a related role within the FMCG industry, preferably in the food sector.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and derive meaningful insights.
  • Proven leadership and communication skills to establish trusted relationships with stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including querying, macros and BI tools.
  • Good knowledge of SAP environment (S4, IBP, AFO).
  • Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.
