Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Financial Analyst to join our team full-time. The role is on-site : the successful candidate is expected to join our team in Via dei Bossi 2A, 20121 Milan, and to be available for national and international business trips.
This position is ideal for a professional with 2-3 years of experience . The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing workflow with banks for every need associated with the firm’s corporate operations (e.g., debt and trading) and preparing financial documentation, specifically in drafting business plans and reviewing financial statements to support our advisory and investment activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Stakeholder & Workflow Management (Primary) : Manage daily operations and workflows with banking partners to ensure seamless transaction execution.
- Corporate Banking Liaison (Primary) : Handle communications regarding debt operations and trading activities.
- Financial Documentation (Primary) : Draft comprehensive Business Plans and review / prepare financial statements with a high degree of accuracy and confidence in analyzing financial data.
- Database Management : Maintain and update investment databases and internal documentation.
- Reporting : Prepare detailed reports and presentations for co-investors and key stakeholders, translating complex financial data into clear insights.
- Investment Support : Support the investment team in scouting potential investment opportunities and conducting preliminary analyses.
- Deal Execution : Support the team in various aspects of deal execution, including M&A transactions.
Qualifications
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience : 2-3 years of relevant professional experience is mandatory.
- Background : Experience in (Corporate) Banking , specifically with corporate clients active in debt operations and trading, or in Accounting firms .
- Technical Skills : Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required, with specific previous experience in drafting / reviewing business plans and producing effective presentations.
- Language : Good command of spoken and written English and Italian.
- Strong problem-solving skills .
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interface effectively with external advisors.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
