Overview

Are you an emerging talent looking for an opportunity to learn new skills and grow?

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Production Planning Supervisor to join our team based in Fiorenzuola D'Arda. As Production Planning Supervisor will directly manage the Assembly Lines Planning team and be responsible for ensuring that production plans align with the Master Scheduler’s plan, both in terms of quantitative output and adherence to deadlines, and collaborate with team to develop production plans in line with the strategy set by the Lead Scheduler.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and mentor the planners who report to you, ensuring their tasks are synchronized with the overall production schedule.
  • Assume accountability for following the Master Scheduler's plan, ensuring that deliverables and timelines are consistently achieved.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for various partners, including other departments, PMO, Production, and Technical Office, ensuring clear and effective communication across all reports.
  • Supervise and ensure production is positioned to meet delivery punctuality requirements, with a strong focus on important clients and significant projects.
  • Actively coordinate and expedite activities related to key customers and projects, playing a proactive role in resolving potential bottlenecks or delays.
  • Participate in capacity planning meetings (Capacity Meetings) to align production capabilities with demand.
  • Attend project priority meetings (Project Meetings) where customer priorities and project scheduling are discussed and aligned.

Who you are

You are an accountable person with a strategic attitude, comfortable in handling sophisticated scenarios, with excellent communication skills and able to build constructive relationships with your partners.

For this role you will need

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to work successfully with multiple partners
  • Excellent organizational skills with a focus on meeting deadlines and quality standards
  • Showed proactive approach in a dynamic environment, effectively leading priorities and advancing issues as vital
  • Proficiency in both English and Italian is required
  • Experience with production scheduling tools and MS Office suite

Preferred qualifications that sets you apart

  • Proven experience in team supervision and production scheduling
  • Experience with SAP or Oracle are highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage
