Senior Construction Engineer

Role description

The position involves alternating periods of home office work with international project assignments abroad. Availability to spend time abroad during construction projects is an essential requirement.

Main Responsibilities

• Identify project requisitions
• Prepare the Construction Execution Plan (construction sequences, logistics, planning, scheduling, controlling, monitoring, and supervision activities)
• Prepare constructability studies
• Participate in subcontracting plan definition
• Prepare work requisitions
• Conduct construction technical evaluations

Knowledge & Qualifications

• Mechanical or Civil/Structure degree; Mechanical degree is a strong plus
• Good command of English
• Additional foreign language skills are a plus
• Knowledge of EPC multidisciplinary activities
• Understanding of oil & gas construction sequences, preferably gained in EPC projects
• Willingness to be temporarily relocated abroad when required by the project
• Proficiency in IT tools and Office Suite
• Strong communication and interaction skills with professionals of various backgrounds, especially engineers

Previous Experience

• Experience in EPC projects
• Experience as Project Engineer, Construction Engineer, or Planning Engineer on international projects
• Experience working abroad is a plus
• 5-7 or more years of relevant experience is preferred
