Role Overview

Ingenn, a head‑hunting firm focused on technical and engineering talent, is recruiting a SENIOR CONSTRUCTION MANAGER for a leading renewable‑energy firm producing photovoltaic, wind, and BESS projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise construction sites throughout all phases of photovoltaic, wind, and BESS plant installations.
  • Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and technical consultants.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Track progress, produce status reports, and deliver on schedule.
  • Control quality of all completed works.
  • Resolve technical issues that arise on site.
  • Maintain continuous liaison with internal functions (technical, permitting, legal, procurement) and external stakeholders.
  • Support commissioning and testing of the plants.
  • Assist in interface management with the grid operator and aid in plant activation.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Civil, Electrical, Energetics engineering or equivalent (technical diploma with relevant experience also acceptable).
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience managing renewable‑energy construction sites (solar, wind, BESS).
  • Strong knowledge of construction and commissioning processes.
  • Familiarity with O&M operations.
  • Understanding of technical and environmental regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret executive projects and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in stakeholder relationship management.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Commitment to meeting project deadlines and coordinating activities efficiently.
  • Willingness to travel within Italy, primarily in Apulia.
