Senior Utilities Engineer – PM BMT Crespellano (Bologna - Italy)

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and implement utility systems—including ventilation, water/sewage, gas/fuel, power, heating, cooling, lighting and fire protection—to meet organisational needs, efficiency targets and regulatory standards.
- Maintain comprehensive engineering documentation and best‑practice records, ensuring they are regularly updated.
- Lead utility‑related projects from conception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling and resource allocation.
- Ensure all systems comply with company, local, state and federal safety and environmental regulations.
- Implement strategies for energy, water and CO₂ conservation and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians and other departments to deliver integrated, efficient projects.
Required Qualifications
- 6–10 years of experience in utility engineering roles within large, structured multinational companies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or professional certifications are preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of utility systems design criteria, processes and implementation.
- Understanding of design/construction phases, sourcing and contract methodologies.
- Proficiency with MS Office and project‑management tools; AutoCAD/design skills are desirable.
- Familiarity with regulations and standards governing utility systems.
- Fluency in written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
