About the Role

As General Manager, you will take full responsibility for one of our acquired software businesses, leading its strategy, operations, and growth. You will oversee a product that has already achieved product market fit and focus on scaling it further by improving performance, expanding globally, and building a world class team around it.

This is a highly entrepreneurial and hands-on role, ideal for experienced leaders who want to shape the next generation of European software champions.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead one of our acquired software companies as its CEO equivalent
  • Define and execute the growth strategy across product, technology, and go-to-market
  • Collaborate with central teams in Finance, AI, People, and M&A for operational, talent, and system support
  • Build and manage high performing cross-functional teams while maintaining a strong culture and motivation
  • Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and forecasting in partnership with the finance team
  • Identify opportunities for pricing optimisation, efficiency improvements, and product expansion
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure a smooth post-acquisition transition and alignment with group objectives

What We’re Looking For

  • 10 to 20 years of experience in B2B SaaS or technology companies
  • Proven track record in scaling a software business post product market fit
  • Background in consulting combined with hands-on operational experience is a strong plus
  • Strong leadership experience managing large, multidisciplinary teams
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to turn vision into execution
  • Excellent client facing and communication skills
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to manage budgets and unit economics
  • Fluency in English; Italian or another European language is a plus
  • Engineering or technical background preferred
  • Willingness to travel across Europe as needed
