Information Technology Field Technician

We are seeking a skilled IT Technician with proven experience in CCTV/Camera installation, structured cabling, and IT hardware support. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on technical expertise, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to deliver efficient IT and security infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras, access control systems, and related security equipment.
• Perform structured cabling, including fiber optics, CAT5/CAT6, and patch panel terminations.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, network connectivity, and cabling issues.
• Conduct site surveys and plan camera placement for optimal coverage.
• Ensure all cabling and installations comply with safety and quality standards.
• Provide support for IT equipment such as desktops, laptops, printers, and network devices.
• Maintain accurate documentation of installations, wiring layouts, and system configurations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely project completion.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in CCTV/Camera installation and structured cabling.
• Knowledge of cabling standards, routing, and cable management best practices.
• Familiarity with IP cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and basic networking concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work at heights, use tools, and handle cabling installations safely.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work on-site and travel to different client locations if required.
