Agilent is looking for a motivated, results-driven and people-oriented Field Account Manager to join our Sales team and support the growth of our analytical instrumentation portfolio in the Lazio region.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to promote Agilent’s core Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry (CMS) solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Identify new business opportunities and manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing.
  • Collaborate with product and specialists, marketing, and service teams to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Work independently to balance field activities with face-to-face meetings with customers and office-based tasks including planning, reporting, and virtual meetings.
  • Stay up to date with market trends and customer needs to ensure Agilent remains a trusted partner.

This is a field-based role – being based in the Lazio region will help ensure smooth and regular visits to customers across the assigned territory (valid driver’s license is required).

Qualifications

  • University degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or related scientific field.
  • A working understanding of Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry, particularly as applied in an analytical laboratory setting.
  • A good understanding of the sales process, along with at least two years of experience in a similar role, will be considered a strong advantage.
  • Fluent Italian language skills.
  • You have the ability to build and maintain networks both internally and externally. You are highly motivated, with strong self-management, organizational, and prioritization skills.

Additional Details

This job has a full-time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. Pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location and are shared during the hiring process.
