Role Overview:

The Business Unit Manager for the Juice & Fruit category plays a pivotal role in aligning market and customer needs with the technical and production capabilities of the company. This category includes juice concentrates, NFC juices, fruit and pulp components, and juice-based compounds, which are strategic products in the company’s portfolio. The manager will act as the primary interface between the Sales Force and R&D, ensuring that product development is market-driven and that the offering remains innovative and competitive. A fundamental aspect of the role is maintaining a close, continuous, and operational relationship with the production plants in Italy and Egypt, guaranteeing product feasibility, supply chain responsiveness, and industrial scalability of projects. The purpose is to drive growth and innovation within this product line by deeply understanding client demands, anticipating trends, and translating them into actionable R&D and operational strategies, always in line with the company's commercial and technological objectives.

In your role you will:

  • Lead the development of the product portfolio by translating customer needs and market insights into distinctive, well-positioned solutions.
  • Analyze market trends, segmenting target markets, and identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Ensurecontinuous collaboration between functions, prioritizing high-impact projects, and aligning technical feasibility with commercial goals.
  • Build strong relationships with key clients, coordinating co-development activities, and validating new projects from both technical and commercial perspectives.
  • Oversee the Business Unit’s plan, tracking key KPIs, and delivering executive reporting.
  • Coordinate marketing, quality, logistics, and regulatory functions to ensure smooth and effective go-to-market execution.
  • Enhance brand presence through trade shows, industry events, and communications aligned with strategic positioning.

The ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in product management, business development, or technical-commercial roles.
  • Strong understanding of R&D and product development processes.
  • Solid knowledge of market dynamics, competitor landscape, and customer segmentation.
  • Fluent in English (minimum B2 level); other languages are a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM and project management tools is beneficial.
