AFTERMARKET PRODUCT INNOVATION MANAGER

Place of work : Lombardy (Italy)

The Role

The Aftermarket Product Innovation Manager is a leadership role focused on driving new product development and innovation strategies.

Reporting to the Aftermarket Marketing VP and functionally to the Innovation VP, the person is involved in the definition of the product vision of the future that anticipates the market needs and requests, conducting market research, understanding the regulations of today and tomorrow and developing roadmaps, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring innovative products to market.

This is a key role in fostering a culture of innovation within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Defining and communicating the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for new and innovative products at global level
  • Conducting thorough market research, competitive analysis, and regulations in order to identify opportunities for innovation at global level.
  • Managing the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation and concept development to prototyping, testing, and launch.
  • Work together all different GBU’s (Moto, Discs, System and Performance) on top of R&D, Marketing and Sales as well as the most innovative Suppliers in order to build a strong connection to share opportunities and a strong product pipeline
  • Tracking product performance, gathering feedback, and using data to inform future product decisions.
  • Fostering a culture of innovation, encouraging creativity, and promoting a growth mindset within the organization.

Requirements

  • Technical Engineering background
  • Creative mindset, in order to be able to dream what’s going to be the product / solution needs of the future
  • Extensive experience in product management and innovation (min 10 years) preferably gained into automotive industry
  • Proven ability to develop and execute product strategies
  • Deep understanding of market trends, regulations and customer needs
  • Proficiency in project management
  • Strong leadership in managing and driving cross-functional collaboration
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
  • Experience in fostering a culture of innovation
  • Fluent in English
