Amazon is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Site Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Manager to partner with the site level operations team for your designated site and execute company WHS policies, ensuring compliance with all applicable local and regional regulations. By leveraging lean principles and Kaizen events, you will lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce conditional and ergonomic risk in Amazon’s processes and ensure a safe and healthful working environment for our associates.
In this role, you must demonstrate the ability to build trust and confidence with cross‑functional operations teams, influence change through comprehensive risk assessments and safety data analysis, communicate clearly both verbally and in writing, and instruct and train operations leadership and site WHS professionals in company EHS policies. Your experience in safety programs and relevant safety, environmental, and ergonomic knowledge in an operations environment will be crucial.
You will be responsible for developing a team of safety managers and professionals at your designated site. Your team's success will depend on your ability to create and execute leadership development plans and on your skill in selecting appropriate bench strength for current and future business needs.
Those that do not have an adult First Aid, CPR, AED certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross must obtain within 3 weeks of start date.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $134,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $222,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
