Import Export Specialist

The Role

We are seeking for our office in Milan, Italy an experienced Ocean Import/Export Specialist to manage and execute international shipping operations with precision and efficiency. In this role, you will:

• Coordinate ocean freight shipments with suppliers, customers, carriers, and trucking partners.
• Prepare and validate import/export documentation.
• Handle rate negotiations, quoting, and booking to meet customer requirements and internal targets.
• Monitor shipments, resolve incidents promptly, and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Collaborate with internal teams and global service centers to ensure smooth operations.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Minimum 3 years in ocean, air, and international logistics
• Mindset: Detail-oriented, proactive, and driven with a strong sense of accountability.
• Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Technical: Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Cargo Wise preferred.
• Fluency in English; additional European language is a plus.
