Kido is a place where innovation and imagination unite to create modern Early Years settings. We’re looking for a Room Leader to join our team at Kido International Nursery & Preschool Crouch End, located at Earl Haig Hall, 18 Elder Ave, London N8 9DE.

We are an international organization operating in India, USA, and the UK. In the UK, all our nurseries are rated Good and Outstanding by Ofsted, based in London and Windsor. We are growing rapidly, opening 1-2 new nurseries each year! At Kido, we blend practices from Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Waldorf Steiner approaches, with a unique curriculum for children aged 3 months to 5 years. We believe that a mix of free and structured play, an engaging environment, and love and care provide a strong foundation for children’s early years.

What we offer

The Room Leader role offers a salary of up to £32,000 for full-time, 40 hours per week. Benefits include:

Role responsibilities

As a Room Leader, you will embody our values and lead your team to deliver inspiring learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Kido curriculum. You will oversee planning, observation, and assessment of children, support team development, and ensure high standards of care and education. Your role involves creating a nurturing environment, engaging indoor and outdoor activities, and maintaining effective communication with parents and colleagues. You will play a key part in observing and celebrating each child’s progress, respecting individual backgrounds and needs.

What we’re looking for

  • Level 3 childcare qualification or higher
  • Aligned with our core values: Listen, Learn, Lead
  • Experience as a Level 3 Educator, possibly as a Room Leader or Deputy
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Willingness to undergo background checks, including DBS
