What you will do :

The Roles Key Responsibilities and Tasks

As an eDOer you will have clear objectives great challenges and a clear overview of how your work contributes to the global company project and its customers As a Java Software Engineer in the Convert team you will be in charge of :

• Be part of a high performing cross functional team of 710 developers plus product managers UX designers agile coaches architects etc working in collaboration to design build and evolve the Conversion Domain microservices platform
• Work with a distributed scalable microservices platform where software gets deployed daily with high quality clean code SOLID principles design patterns and TDD
• Be fully independent when working with the modules your team ows across all the phases of the SDLC You will not only code but own the entire product and software development lifecycle all the way from product ideation to deploying into Cloud running QA and AB tests
• Work with talented colleagues who will mentor you and help you develop your career super fast
• Provide solutions to complex problems by understanding the problem and the system it sits in and working with our most senior people to find the best solution that is robust scalable and has good performance in a high load environment Offer suggestions and creative options to deliver technical solutions that improve your product based on active monitoring of product and technical performance
• Work in a fully agile organisation using Kanban practices to deliver business value continuously experimenting to deliver more value and be more efficient Actively participate in team ceremonies and events as well as product definition and ideation processes
• Code the solutions on a module scope with the highest quality through good design attention to detail and test quality
• Use your knowledge of Cloud and of Continuous Delivery environments as well as other software tools to help you deliver value quickly and improve technical excellence
• Leverage your technical excellence mindset to promote the use of microservices platforms clean code SOLID principles and TDD

Proficient coding with Java or any Object oriented programming We care about skills not framework experience Ability to promote and apply best practices with strong data driven capabilities and design pattern skills Ability to analyse and provide creative solutions to challenges focusing on the outcome and not on the tasks Experience working with the entire software development cycle including deploying to production and testing both unit and integration Quality mindset gt; Implement high quality code that is clear concise and well tested Ability to contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture You understand the power of feedback and you know how to deliver praise and constructive feedback within your team including code reviews and mentoring more junior colleagues Team player gt; You enjoy collaborating sharing your skills and knowledge with others Constantly looking to expand your skills and skillsets through learning and increasing knowledge Good English level that will allow you to work in a multicultural environment Our teams are from all over the world gt; 45 nationalities with different backgrounds cultures and interests

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Applied AI Tools : Demonstrated comfort using practical AI tools such as GitHub Copilot ChatGPT or other AIpowered coding assistants Experimentation Mindset : Curiosity and eagerness to explore experiment with and integrate emerging AIdriven solutions into software development workflows AIEnhanced Problem Solving : Ability to effectively leverage AI tools to debug code streamline development processes and enhance productivity Adaptability and Learning Agility : Enthusiastic about continuously learning and quickly adapting to new AI features and capabilities Collaboration with AI : Experience or interest in collaborating closely with AI tools as pair programmers to complement traditional software development practices
