CYBER SECURITY MANAGER

The Cyber Security Manager Safeguards Leaf Space’s corporate and product infrastructures against cyber threats, ensuring compliance with international standards and embedding security practices across company operations. Leaf Space’s ground segment infrastructure serves as essential, mission‑critical infrastructure for both commercial space operations and defense missions at national, European, and international levels. This criticality demands a cybersecurity leader who combines exceptional technical depth with the trustworthiness and professional rigor essential for protecting sensitive operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor threats and respond to security incidents across corporate and product environments.
  • Identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
  • Define and implement cyber security architecture, policies, and processes.
  • Conduct secure code reviews and enforce secure development practices.
  • Deliver cyber awareness and training for all employees.
  • Perform regular risk assessments and collaborate with external auditors.
  • Support clients and stakeholders with certifications, due diligence, and security requirements.
  • Drive the achievement of sector certifications (NIS2, NIST‑800‑171, ISO 27001, etc.) and to the design/optimization of company‑wide security processes.

QUALIFICATIONS AND STUDIES

  • Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH or equivalent.

REQUIR

  1. Tech skills
    • 3–5 years of experience in cyber security roles.
    • Strong hands‑on experience in incident response, penetration testing, vulnerability management, crisis management.
    • Solid knowledge of international standards (ISO 27001, NIS2, GDPR, NIST).
    • Knowledge of Italian cybersecurity directives is considered a plus.
  2. Soft skills (language)
    • Analytical mindset, autonomy, and problem‑solving approach.
    • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Italian at B2 level is a strong advantage.
