As the company experiences significant growth in the global market, we are expanding our team and looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer to join our R&D department.

The Hardware Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing hardware components for Alpinestars’ electronic products. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure hardware quality, performance, and reliability.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and develop hardware components for electronic products;
  • Create detailed design specifications based on product requirements;
  • Conduct simulations and prototyping to validate hardware designs;
  • Perform testing and debugging of hardware to ensure functionality and reliability;
  • Collaborate with software engineers to integrate hardware and software components;
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and certifications;
  • Document design processes, test procedures, and results.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering or related field;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in hardware design and development in a large electronics company;
  • Experience with consumer electronics, especially mobile battery-operated devices;
  • Familiarity with embedded systems and RTOS;
  • Strong understanding of product development processes;
  • Proficiency in hardware design tools and techniques, with experience in low power control systems, battery management, and multi-axial sensing systems;
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and hardware issue resolution capabilities;
  • Experience with electronics testing equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies); autonomy in their use;
  • Good soldering skills, capable of working on SMD components on prototypes or PCBs;
  • Excellent communication skills in English;
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, team-oriented environments;
  • Innovative problem-solving skills to meet market needs.
