Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history : 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano / Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

Overview

We are looking for Accreditation Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for :

Responsibilities

Planning Phase (finalisation)

  • Support the Accreditation team in stakeholder management and operational preparations.
  • Participate actively in training to build understanding of stakeholders, processes, and operational requirements.
  • Assist in accreditation operations, including data validation and processing of applications.
  • Contribute to the preparation, printing, and dispatch of Pre-Valid Cards (PVCs).
  • Support planning, testing, and finalisation of accreditation procedures and tools.

Games Time

  • Operate the accreditation help desk at an assigned Olympic or Paralympic Village.
  • Provide frontline support and services to Games stakeholders, including workforce and Games Family members.
  • Triage and resolve accreditation requests and issues, ensuring timely and professional service.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved cases to the relevant client services team when necessary.
  • Ensure that all accreditation services are delivered in line with established procedures and service standards.
  • Accreditation or other relevant experience in at least one other global multi-sport event.
  • Proven project, risk and business management skills, and a working knowledge of project management tools.
  • Proven ability working with volunteers.
  • Proven ability to manage a multi-layered project independently and support the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain working relationships with other departments, specifically at a venue team level.
  • Ability to operate in a dynamic working environment, handling multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to manage high workload via effective time management and use of resources.
  • Highly numerate, good IT (Information Technology) skills, detail-conscious and well-organised.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills
  • Italian and English (full professional proficiency), other languages a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge of accreditation systems
