Overview

Amazon Process Assistant (Full-time) – This position requires in-role training at an operating site which will be 5+ weeks in duration. Training will be located 50+ miles away from the home site location. All travel accommodations for training will be booked and paid for by Amazon.

RSR (Rural Super Rural) supports last-mile delivery operations to ensure customer satisfaction in remote areas. On the Road Process Assistants in Last Mile support delivery associates through each step of the delivery process and track delivery metrics; training all delivery associates in safety, compliance, and vehicle operation per local, state, and federal requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the training of new Delivery Associates on how to drive and operate the vehicles
  • Ensure vehicle cleanliness and appearance is maintained to standard and captured via DA inspections
  • Ensure adherence to dress code standards
  • Assist with production duties, train sort associates, and verify SOP compliance
  • Track and monitor performance including on-road ride-alongs to measure on-road quality, adherence to standards, and identify re-training and process improvement opportunities
  • Understand workflow and daily production goals
  • Ensure all federal, state and local laws and requirements are followed
  • Cultivate and sustain a safe environment, high-quality customer delivery, professional driver experience and positive culture
  • Report all job injuries timely according to policy and procedure
  • Provide direction utilizing independent judgment
  • Establish trust and credibility by maintaining integrity, communications and professional demeanor
  • Keep work areas clean and equipped with proper equipment and supplies
  • Identify and address safety hazards within the work area

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
  • High school or equivalent
  • Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
  • Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
  • Work 40 hours/week, overtime as required
  • Valid and active driver's license
  • At least 21 years old and authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Driver Qualification File

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree, and/or prior Amazon experience
  • Demonstrates problem solving and analytical skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication across organizational levels
  • History of meeting/exceeding departmental goals
  • Experience leading teams
  • Ability to provide direction using independent judgment
  • Strong organization and time management skills
