Who We're Looking For

BasicNet Group is looking for a junior resource to join its Intellectual Property team and support the management of the Group’s IP assets, including trademarks, designs, patents, and domain names.

Key Responsabilities

• Trademark portfolio management, including filings, clearance searches, documentation, prosecution (e.g. refusals, oppositions), and renewals.
• Administrative support for registered designs and domain names.
• Patent-related support, in coordination with external consultants.
• Trademark monitoring and enforcement, including cease and desist letters, oppositions, and cancellation actions.
• Anti-counterfeiting case management in Italy and abroad, including customs surveillance and coordination with authorities and foreign advisors.
• Online enforcement on marketplaces, social media, websites, and fraudulent domains.
• Trademark record maintenance, including updates, ownership changes, and submission of proof of use.
• Litigation support in IP and unfair competition matters, both domestic and international.
• Cross-functional collaboration with design and marketing teams on IP matters related to collections, projects, and campaigns.
• Legal support on co-branding, marketing, and distribution agreements.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Law, preferably with a specialization in Intellectual Property.
• 1 to 3 years of previous experience in Intellectual Property is preferred.
• Excellent spoken and written English; knowledge of an additional foreign language is considered a plus.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and management skills, with attention to accuracy and detail.
• Teamwork-oriented attitude and good interpersonal skills.

Depending on the candidate’s background and experience, the position may be structured either as an internship or a direct hire.
