The experts at Nolan Norton, KPMG’s IT Strategy firm, help organizations face digital transformation challenges and implement IT architectures. Specifically, you will join the CIO Advisory Team in Milan, which specializes in architectures and data management solutions, supporting CIOs in their digital transformation journey toward the cloud—from strategy to execution, and from vision to real value. You will be part of a dynamic and stimulating environment, working with high‑profile clients in the financial services, energy, public sector, and consumer and industrial markets.

Your Skills and Qualities

You are the ideal candidate if you are interested in working in MILAN and have 6–10 years of experience in consulting firms or in companies strongly focused on technological innovation.

To be the ideal candidate, you should have significant experience in at least one of the following areas:

  • IT STRATEGY: Defining ICT strategies, drafting system and strategic ICT plans, evaluating business cases and case-for-change for complex IT initiatives, with a focus on infrastructure and cloud.
  • IT ARCHITECTURE AND CLOUD: Ability to define infrastructure landscapes with a cloud perspective, cloud migration strategies, and knowledge of major solutions in the field.
  • IT INFRASTRUCTURE: Designing complex infrastructures and evaluating high-availability and disaster recovery solutions. Knowledge of major IT operations solutions.
  • IT TELCO: High-level design of connectivity solutions and evaluation in terms of evolution or management.
  • IT SOURCING: Managing complex IT tenders, supporting strategic investment evaluations with assessment models and business cases for procuring technology solutions such as data centers, telecommunications, and IT management services.
  • IT PROCESSES: Analyzing and designing IT processes for digital transformation using ITIL methodologies.

Additional qualifications that make you the ideal candidate include:

  • Degree in Computer, Electronic, Management Engineering, or related fields
  • Excellent and proven knowledge of English
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to participate in international meetings
  • Advanced use of software such as MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Power BI, or similar
  • Strong goal orientation and problem-solving attitude
  • Willingness to travel frequently
  • IT Service Management certifications (ITIL) or others (SAFe, ServiceNow, etc.)
