About the Role

Reporting to the Country Regulatory Affairs Manager, you will join the European Regulatory Affairs Team, taking responsibility for regulatory activities in Italy and Malta. This role offers broad exposure to European and zonal regulatory projects, close collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the opportunity to contribute to key strategic decisions in a dynamic international environment.

What You Can Expect

  • Preparation and timely submission of registration dossiers to Italian and Maltese competent authorities, ensuring full compliance with Italian, Maltese, and European legislation.
  • Full ownership of an assigned product portfolio, ensuring correct labelling, regulatory compliance, and maintenance of registrations.
  • Close cooperation with internal business units to support decision-making and maximize project outcomes.
  • Cross-support to other Southern European (SEU) countries as required.
  • Representation of ADAMA in official bodies, authorities, and national associations.
  • Project Management responsibilities at European and zonal level, including:
    • Identification of registration requirements to obtain or maintain approval of formulated products.
    • Participation in project teams where critical regulatory and business decisions are made.
    • Providing regulatory input to define registration strategies aligned with zonal requirements and business priorities.
    • Communication with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Review of dossiers in line with EU requirements and accepted national refinements (no dossier writing).
    • Review of Preliminary Risk Assessments.
  • Maintenance of internal databases and proper storage of regulatory information.

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Toxicology, Environmental Science, Safety Assessment of Xenobiotics, Agronomy, Biology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in registration of Crop Protection Products (PPP) in a Southern Zone country.
  • Project management experience is considered an advantage.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Team-oriented mindset, openness to change, and strong communication skills.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Solid knowledge of PPP regulations and understanding of registration dossiers.
  • Knowledge of fertiliser and biostimulant regulations (EU and national) is a plus.
  • Native Italian speaker with fluent English (written and spoken). Knowledge of other Latin languages is an advantage.
