Lungarno Collection is pleased to share an exciting opportunity for a talented IT Technical Supervisor to join our Corporate Team, based in Florence. The IT Technical Supervisor will be part of the IT Department at the Corporate Office, reporting directly to the IT Corporate Director. Responsibilities include:
- Managing, monitoring, and maintaining physical and virtual servers (Windows / Linux).
- Administering Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file servers, and email systems.
- Managing backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures.
- Providing second-level technical support for hardware/software issues.
- Overseeing security management and policy implementation.
- Managing technical documentation and IT inventory updates.
- Supporting migration, upgrade, or new technology projects, including:
- Maintenance and upgrades of hotel network infrastructure.
- Active Directory and server upgrades.
Supporting compliance with PCI, GDPR, and other standards.Verifying endpoint security and patching.Ensuring daily, weekly, and monthly IT checklists are completed and logged.Travel up to 20% as required.Required skills and experience:
- Minimum 5 years in a similar IT role, preferably in hospitality.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, network systems (wired/wireless), and troubleshooting (Meraki, Fortinet, etc.).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Server OS, Active Directory, desktop OS support, O365, and security tools.
- Knowledge of VMWare, system integration, and security protocols.
- Familiarity with GDPR and IT security procedures.
- Project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience with hotel systems (Oracle Opera, Navision, etc.) and relevant certifications are a plus.
Language requirements: Italian and English fluency. The role requires a customer/guest-oriented attitude, attention to detail, and a professional, elegant demeanor.
