Valeo Service is the Aftermarket Specialist serving both auto manufacturers with original equipment spares and the independent aftermarket with replacement parts and accessories for passenger cars and commercial vehicles.

As a Warranty Engineer in the Quality Team in Valeo Service, in Santena, you will have the opportunity to work with the most powerful aftermarket companies, in the electronics development, working in an international and multicultural environment.

Main Activities And Responsibilities

Technical and warranty claim management process :

  • Perform warranty claims technical analysis; Cooperate and communicate with customers regarding warranty claims and new quality issues and issues follow up until resolution applying QRQC methodology;
  • Coordinate warranty claims return, new quality issues recalls; ensuring process follow the Valeo Serv
  • ice warranty part analysis procedure and respecting the timing commitment to Customers and Valeo QRQC methodology requirement;
  • Performs in SAP CS / WMS/ claims process from registration to closing;

Quality Products And Site Quality Results Improvements

  • Monitor, analyze and initiate action plans for most critical references, to reduce n° of warranty claims;
  • Makes statistics / analytics and reporting for Quality results;
  • Together with the team prepare data and make periodical Quality results reporting

Quality controls and products in quality inspection;

  • Initiate quality controls based on Incidents Reports;
  • Supervise internal quality controls to eliminate defective products ;
  • Ensure to block defective products in SAP system ;
  • Is responsible for warehouse inventory under quarantine: defective products and stock in quality inspection

Desired Skills

  • Education: Master degree in Mechanical Engineering - a must;
  • Experience: minimum 2-3 years in the Quality, Warranty or Technical department- a must;
  • Good English proficiency, good Italian mandatory (B2Level minimum);
  • Use of Google Drive solutions - will be an asset;
  • Proven customer relation and service experience- will be an asset;
  • SAP WM / CS knowledge- will be an asset;
  • Knowledge: posses practical knowledge of the automotive industry- will be an asset;
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, communication skills and the ability to build relationships with customers;
  • Openness to changes, readiness to learn, commitment and dynamism in action
