Financial Accountant

Overview

Tri Coastal Design is a creative and fast-paced company operating in the international design and consumer goods industry. Our Milan office is looking for an Accountant to join the Finance & Administration team and support daily accounting operations with precision and responsibility.

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated professional to manage key aspects of the accounting cycle and ensure proper financial documentation and controls. This position offers the opportunity to grow within a dynamic and international environment in a very fast growing environment.

Responsibilities

• Process and check incoming supplier invoices
• Post and reconcile bank transactions
• Record and reconcile payroll accounting entries
• Manage F24 tax entries and payments
• Support VAT controls and prepare periodic VAT returns
• Review customs documentation and ensure proper reconciliation
• Reconcile supplier advances and monitor outstanding balances
• Coordinate internal purchasing processes and related accounting flows
• Assist in the reconciliation of general ledger accounts
• Check inbound invoices and related cost documentation
• Ensure proper accounting allocation (accruals/deferrals)
• Record withholding taxes and related obligations
• Maintain accurate archiving of banking and accounting records
• Help manage office-related contracts (e.g., printers, cleaning services, office supplies)

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience in an accounting role
• Knowledge of Italian accounting and tax regulations (including VAT)
• Good Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software (familiarity with Arca is a plus)
• Organized, precise, and proactive mindset
• Italian fluency and working knowledge of English
• Team-oriented, with the ability to work independently
• Open minded
• Strong determination to accomplish tasks and achieve established objectives
