Accounting includes work across multiple areas of Accounting
Main Tasks
Develop (if corporate function) and implement (if country/BU function) the M+H accounting policies, programs, and systems to control the M+H assets in the area of responsibility and provide complete, updated and accurate financial information and records
Support the local team in month-end closing
Prepare documentation for monthly and yearly audit
Support the accounting team on daily activities and projects
Check travel expenses and ensure proper maintenance of related documentation. Ensure proper entries in general ledger
Ensure proper storage of proof of delivery linked to custom and tax topic
Record the basic information on the cash receipts and payments (incl. bank deposits and withdrawals) and ensure reconciliation with the bank statements
Contact the customers with the overdue (delinquent) accounts or other credit-related issues to arrange the payments, negotiate the payment schedules and contracts and follow-up the accounts to ensure that these arrangements are met
Ensure the credit insurance is properly managed
Your Profile
Education: University degree in Business Administration, Finance, or other relevant field of education with specialization in accounting;
Experience: Min. 1 year of relevant work experience;
Required Skills: MS Office skills; SAP(FI/CO) Knowledge will be considered a plus;
Languages: Fluency in English (written and spoken)
