AUTOMATION ENGINEER

Overview

Next Job Europe Srl is a company based in Reggio Emilia, specialised in plant engineering for the food & beverage sector. We are looking for an Automation Engineer to join our Technical Office.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of PLC and HMI software for complex industrial plants.
• Management of suppliers and commercial components.
• Operational support to technicians during machine assembly and testing.
• Service activities: definition of spare kit assemblies and remote assistance.
• Travel to customers for plant start-up and commissioning worldwide.

Profile Ideal

• Technical education: Degree in Automation, Electronics, Mechatronics (or related) or technical diploma.
• Excellent mastery of PLC programming (Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Schneider).
• Good knowledge of SCADA systems, HMI interfaces, industrial networks and communication protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic and technical documentation, associated with good knowledge of commercial components.
• Practical mindset: availability to operate directly on the machine.
• Good English proficiency and availability for travel to Italy / abroad.
