We are looking for a Purchasing & Logistic Manager for our TRICO Italy plant.

What will you do:

Purchasing

  • Identify and choose suppliers
  • Manage contracts with suppliers
  • Manage price lists
  • Manage requests for quotations and negotiations
  • Ensure the creation of reports to management
  • Carry out supplier evaluations
  • Ensure correct management of the flow in the company information system

Logistics

  • Ensure correct logistics flow
  • Ensure supplier supplies (send programs, create reminders)
  • Manage both internal and external warehouses (check stock levels, create inventories)
  • Ensure correct document management related to the receipt and shipment of goods
  • Manage shipments to customers in compliance with the given schedule
  • Ensure management of the information flow and reporting
  • Organize and manage transport

Profile requirements:

  • Degree in economics and management
  • Working in complex international contexts in automotive sector
  • At least 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Very good command of written and spoken English
  • Technical knowledge of products
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of office automation tools
  • Basic knowledge of transport regulations
  • Knowledge of quality management system regulations in the automotive sector
  • Knowledge of the logic and parameters that regulate the flow of logistics
  • Knowledge of the rules of international contracts with suppliers
  • Ability to perform product value analysis (price-performance ratio)
  • Ability to negotiate with suppliers
  • Problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of the company's quality management system
  • Knowledge of the environmental, health and safety role
