Join to apply for the Project Controller role at STACK Infrastructure

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Project Controller to join our STACK team in Milan. In this role, you will be responsible for controlling the financial aspects of STACK Italy hyperscale construction projects, and monitoring financial risks related to the supply chain.

What You’ll Do

  • Budget and cost report review
  • Cash flow review and equity request support
  • Track and control of project expenditures against approved budgets and defined scope
  • Maintain accurate tracking of budget approvals and scope adjustments
  • Forecasting and reporting of land acquisition costs
  • Controlling and reporting of due diligence costs
  • Preparation of periodic financial reports to stakeholders
  • Controlling of project data accuracy in reporting systems
  • Conduct financial assessments of key suppliers during the tendering process
  • Review of tender recommendation reports and payment plans
  • Identify and communicate potential financial risks throughout the project lifecycle
  • Perform annual financial evaluations of critical suppliers
  • Follow up of required securities from supply chain
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, legal regulations, and financial controls
  • Actively participate in project and development meetings to monitor progress and assess financial impacts
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project controlling function to enhance efficiency and reporting quality

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of construction or property development costs and forecasting
  • Solid understanding of financial risk management principles
  • Proficiency with IT tools, especially advanced MS Excel/Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Experience as a Controller in the data centre, property development, or construction sectors

Education

  • Master’s degree in economics, Finance, or Business Administration

This role offers a hybrid working model, with 3 days on-site and 2 days remote work per week.
