JOB PURPOSE
Contribute to design and ensure implementation of Dispatching & Network Control plans and processes for efficient dispatch, transportation and distribution of products at maximum efficiency, quality, and customer service, in line with business plans, corporate guidelines and policies
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contribute to design and ensure implementation of Dispatching & Network Control plans and policies in line with business objectives and requirements, corporate guidelines and policies
- Desing and control Internal processes for Pick Up and Delivery Activities to improve Efficiency
- Monitor Providers performance and project transportation costs
- Maintain business relationships with supply and logistics team and external global/local logistics providers
- Apply best practices to enhance service quality and alignment with company’s direction and long‑term goals
Stakeholders
- Understand customer and key stakeholders interests and concerns and advise direct reports, customers and key stakeholders
- Build strong, trusting relationships with DHL managers and Suppliers
- Extensive contact with other specialist departments
- Cooperate with and coordinate 3rd parties e.g. external service providers
Management Responsibility
Supervise professional level employees (typically entry or experienced level) and may also supervise some non professional employees
