This position reports to Supply Quality Manager.
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist the local unit in developing the necessary capabilities to effectively control products and systems. Each day, you will ensure compliance with internal, customer, and industry requirements within a cost-effective and safe working environment. The work model for the role is: . This role contributes to the Electrification – Smart Building Division, factory in Santa Palomba (RM). You will be mainly accountable for:
- Defining quality requirements, quality gates, and the process control plan.
- Designing quality tools to perform incoming inspections.
- Defining quality procedures and being responsible for quality trainings.
- Supporting the definition and implementation of actions to improve safety, operating efficiency, quality, and productivity in the value chain, to improve customer satisfaction and increase profitability in a safe working environment within the local business.
- Leading quality operations on a specific product family: continuous improvement both on process and product, coordinating quality activities in production focused on achieving business targets within quality.
- Managing non-conformity issues: cooperating closely with other business functions and leading RCA according to DMAIC approach.
- Being responsible for managing quality data and metrics according to ABB standards.
Qualifications For The Role
- Possess an enhanced knowledge of Statistical Analysis and statistical software (i.e., Minitab). Knowledge of lean six sigma methodology will be considered a plus.
- You are innovative, willing to express your full potential by bringing your value-added ideas and passion to continuously innovate daily job and solutions. You are committed to delivering results by taking responsibility for executing assigned tasks and projects.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- You are at ease communicating in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
