Software Engineer (m/f) - Technical Area

Responsibilities

The position is located in the Machine Tools Division, within the department that deals with software development on embedded and commercial platforms.
The increasing importance of software in Marposs applications offers growth opportunities within the Technical Structure.

The role involves analyzing, designing, and developing software modules and products mainly for stand-alone and networked industrial measurement and control systems.
The expanding technical sector and the complexity of solutions provide rapid professional growth opportunities.

Profile

The ideal candidate has a degree in engineering (electronics or computer science) or computer science.

Preferred skills include:

• Knowledge of Industry 4.0, OPC UA, and Industrial IoT
• Knowledge of Fieldbuses and Numerical Controls
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems
• Experience in programming portable and multi-platform applications
• Proficiency in English (preferably technical English)

Additional appreciated skills:

• Mobile app development for iOS and Android
• Programming in HTML5, CSS, Python, .NET
• Experience with Git and SVN version control systems
• Experience in software development for industrial systems on commercial or embedded platforms

Soft skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and proactive attitude are also important.
