HR Consultant presso Randstad Professional Italia

The Sales & Marketing division of Randstad Professional, specializing in the search and selection of Middle and Senior Management, for an important company operating in the Hospitality sector, is looking for a:

General Manager

Responsibilities

  • Drive business growth and profitability by identifying new revenue streams and developing business plans to maximize guest engagement and market share.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to ensure strong competitive positioning.
  • Lead and manage the Executive Committee and Leadership teams, promoting accountability, cohesion, and high performance.
  • Cultivate strong owner relations, providing regular updates on operational activities, key metrics (guest/employee), and overall hotel performance.
  • Stay informed on industry and market trends and monitor competitor strengths/weaknesses.
  • Ensure budget adherence and take necessary actions to maximize profitability and ROI for owners.
  • Oversee the execution of learning, development, and succession plans.
  • Maintain excellence in service delivery and ensure consistent adherence to brand standards across all hotel functions.
  • Enhance brand presence in the community by proactively creating and leveraging a strong network of stakeholders, partners, and influencers.
  • Analyze business data (market share, financial performance, inventory, engagement) and respond proactively to changes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, safety, operations, and labor standards and conduct company audits.
  • Foster a strong culture of respect, equality, and fairness.
  • Engage with guests and leaders regularly to gauge satisfaction and address gaps.

Requirements and Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Hotel & Restaurant Management or related disciplines.
  • 6–8 years of experience in similar managerial roles in the luxury hospitality sector.
  • Proven experience in opening, relaunching or repositioning hotel properties.
  • Solid strategic leadership and organizational development skills, with an aptitude for building high-performance teams.
  • Excellent financial analysis, budgeting and operational management skills.
  • Results‑oriented approach, continuous improvement and excellent customer experience.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
