Project Manager

SPEA S.p.A., a world leader in the design and implementation of testing systems for microchips and electronic boards, is looking to expand its Research and Development Department by hiring a Project Manager.

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for organizing and leading work teams to ensure compliance with the company's timelines, methods, and quality standards in the following areas:

1. Project Management

The Project Manager will oversee a SPEA product or functional unit, managing the project from commercial negotiation and technical feasibility through to installation at the final customer site, including design, development, and manufacturing stages. The role requires ensuring timely completion of work by all stakeholders. The PM will collaborate closely with R&D, Sales and Commercial teams, Production, and Customer Support.

2. Process Improvement

The candidate will work with various SPEA departments to enhance process efficiency through analysis, mapping, conceptual design of improvements, implementation, and monitoring of results.

Requirements

• Degree in Management Engineering (preferred)
• Valuable experience in electronics or automation
• Willingness to take full organizational responsibility for projects and ensure their successful completion
• Availability to work alongside technical teams to learn SPEA machines and acquire necessary skills
• Ability to analyze complex situations and break them down into manageable components
• Determination to gradually assume a leadership role within the organization
• Effective communication skills to convey the right approach and mindset to team members
