Greentalent is a recruiter specialised in search and selection of professionals and managers in the Energy, Engineering and Environment market. On behalf of a global leader in waste-to-energy solutions, we are looking for a:

The ideal candidate holds at least two years of professional experience in comparable roles within the process industry (i.e. Biomethane, Water & Waste Treatment, Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Chemical industry), preferably within EPC contracting companies.

By joining the Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation Team, he/she will manage and coordinate the engineering activities for the documentation production to support the system control, from P&ID analysis to plant control logics architecture design, respecting the timing dictated by the time schedule as well as the completeness and correctness of the information provided.

Main responsibilities

  • Produce the order documents relating to the control and automation system.
  • Plan the assigned engineering activities and monitor their progress in accordance with the schedule defined on the document list.
  • Coordinate the work of the suppliers of products and services, ensure the correctness of the documentation produced and the implementation of the information provided.
  • Participate in FAT and SAT relating to the supply of the Company or third parties, of the automation panel.
  • Punctually record the costs and hours spent on engineering activities, ensuring compliance with the assigned budget for each job.
  • Define automation management standards and commit to continuous improvement of control through lessons learned.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering disciplines (i.e. Electrical, Automation, Energy, Chemical) or equivalent qualifications.
  • At least 2 years of experience in similar roles related to industrial processing plants (preferably EPC Contractors).
  • Experience in control architecture for industrial plants.
  • Basic knowledge of automation systems design.
  • Good knowledge of English language, both written and spoken.

Specific expertise in Waste Treatment, Anaerobic Digestion and Water Treatment industry will be considered a remarkable plus.

Location: Milan Area, with broad flexibility.
