At GE Vernova, we are looking for a technically skilled Automation Engineer to join our Lean and Manufacturing Engineering team in Sesto San Giovanni Bushing Factory. This role plays a key part in the development and continuous improvement of our automation and robotics projects.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Manage robotics and automation projects from inception to completion.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Conduct thorough technical and cost feasibility analyses for proposed projects.
• Assess the potential benefits and risks associated with each project.
• Liaise with suppliers from the bidding phase through to project realization and testing.
• Ensure suppliers meet quality and delivery standards.
• Work closely with factory operators to develop practical and efficient automation solutions.
• Ensure that implemented solutions align with operational needs and enhance productivity.
• Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions to ensure smooth project execution.

Required Qualifications

• Automation Engineering degree with proven professional experience; or equivalent experience.
• Specific knowledge CAD and 3D software (e.g., AutoCAD, PTC Creo).
• Programming languages (e.g., C++, Python).
• Fluent English and Italian.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PLC programming and robotic systems.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies.
