Data Engineer

Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join an Automotive client of ours at their R&D site in Foggia. This exciting opportunity will involve joining a Global Data Engineering team and helping to build pipelines to support data processing and modeling tasks.

Location and Language

The role requires Italian language skills, and candidates to be Italy-based, ideally Foggia and surrounding areas, as travel is required due to hybrid working conditions.

Responsibilities

• Develop data engineering software tools that access data from different data sources and perform data preprocessing and harmonization so that data is ready for post processing (modeling and complex calculations)
• Build ETL pipelines to ensure smooth transfer of data
• Help with designing software architecture – help to build graphical interfaces
• Query using SQL on the database

Desirable Requirements / Qualifications

• Strong background in Data Engineering
• Experience with Python
• Strong background in programming
• Background with SQL databases is important
• Experience with ETL is a plus

Contract & Location Details

The role offers the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement and is a 3 month contract that will extend long-term.
