Job Description:

The Bellevue in Cogne, Valle d'Aosta, overlooking the Prati di Sant'Orso, right in front of the Gran Paradiso and the National Park of the same name, is not a simple hotel, but a great House that embraces history, culture, and the natural beauty of the Alps.

The Jeantet-Roullet family has been running it since 1925, maintaining a tradition of hospitality with more than 90 employees.

The House offers 39 unique rooms, each furnished with antiques from the family collection, a 1,200-square-meter spa, and four restaurants: Le Petit Bellevue, the Bar à Fromage, a mountain restaurant, and the Brasserie du Bon Bec.

Additional amenities include an award-winning wine cellar, cheese cellar, circular vegetable garden, and bakery, and the property is part of the Relais & Châteaux Association.

Within the residence, under the supervision of management, the candidate will:

• Plan and coordinate daily work, supervise accounting management
• Supervise table setting and service
• Participate in room service and manage the team
• Record orders, attend to guests, and focus on details
• Supervise room preparations for all services (breakfast, lunch, dinner, room service)
• Replace the Maître when needed

Qualifications include:

• Diploma/Degree
• Sommelier certification (e.g., AIS, FISAR)
• Fluency in English; knowledge of French is a plus
• Good knowledge of national, territorial, and international wines
• At least three years of experience in similar roles in gourmet restaurants, 4* / 5* hotels, or Relais & Châteaux properties
• Strong communication, management, leadership, customer service, and teamwork skills
