Overview

In the context of a factory for the assembly of electromechanical products, part of a multinational group, SLIMPA SPA is looking for a Manufacturing Application and Testing Systems Developer.

In this role, he / she will be responsible for designing and coding functional programs and applications, as well as developing functional testing systems for electromechanical subsystems.

Responsibilities

  • Translate application use cases into functional applications.
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
  • Collaborate with development and IT teams to manage the digital factory environment.
  • Follow best practices around testing, defect tracking, test suite maintainability, and quality.
  • Create reusable testing solutions.
  • Implement functional testing systems based on R&D test specifications.

Skills

  • Excellent ability to read electrical and electronic diagrams.
  • Good knowledge of testing procedures and technologies.
  • Proficient in NI LabVIEW.
  • Proficient in C#, with a good understanding of the .NET framework ecosystem.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design, and architectural patterns.
  • Familiarity with RDBMS (MS SQL Server) and SQL language to create database schemas supporting business processes.
  • Familiar with version control tools such as Git.
  • Basic knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies and procedures.

Digital Competences

  • Digital Flow – Data model IT Architecture
  • Data analytics and data visualization

Professional Requirements

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in manufacturing processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electronic, electrical engineering, or computer science.
  • Experience working as part of a manufacturing solutions team.
  • Strong commitment to supporting production requirements.
  • Ability to communicate in the local language.
  • English proficiency is an asset.
  • Project management skills.
