The Workday Success Plans Team focuses on our customers and their entire journey with Workday, creating programs to help them drive business value from their Workday applications. The team delivers a variety of programs and services — from feature demonstrations to guidance during deployments — and celebrates diversity, drives innovation, and does good in the communities where we live and work.

About the Role

Workday is looking for a Principal Engagement Manager with strong HCM or Financials expertise to join our growing Deployment Success Management team, part of the larger Workday Success Plan (WSP) organization. In this role you are considered an expert with the Workday Deployment Methodology, leading and managing mid‑to‑large deployments and resolving complex issues creatively and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate proficiency in the Workday HCM and/or Financials product suite.
  • Work in a diverse, fast‑paced environment and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Provide guidance to partner and client resources during customer concerns.
  • Juggle multiple projects and issues simultaneously.
  • Review and assess projects to ensure they are on schedule per defined timelines.
  • Confirm the project is delivered within the budget outlined in the SOW.
  • Act as a liaison for sales and partner relations by providing partner implementation success data.

About You

  • 8+ years of experience in project management with HCM, payroll, financial, or student implementations within medium to large enterprise or state/local government environments.
  • 8+ years of experience implementing Workday, Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft or similar applications.
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in at least one of the following languages: German, French, Italian, or Spanish.
