Service Sales Engineer, WU - Italy

Overview

Grundfos Pompe Italia is seeking a Service Sales Engineer – Water Utilities (Central & Southern Italy, ideally based in Rome or Naples).

Position details

• You will report directly to the Area Sales Manager for Water Utilities Italy and Greece.
• You will collaborate closely with the External Sales Team.
• Key external stakeholders include Service Partners and Water Utilities.

What is the job about?

• Manage and grow service sales activities within the Water Utility segment.
• Build strong relationships with customers and service partners, promoting Grundfos products, services, and digital solutions.
• Handle troubleshooting, energy optimization, field commissioning, and customer training.
• Promote Grundfos digital technologies as part of the aftermarket service offering.
• Maintain accurate CRM customer data accurate and up to date.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stay informed about market trends.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and safety standards.

Key requirements

• Technical degree (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering) or equivalent experience.
• Preferably experienced in Water Utilities or related fields (e.g., electrical panels, remote control, PLCs).
• Strong process and project management skills; able to work independently.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
