The Application Consultant is responsible for delivering first-class technical applications support and training, performing demonstrations of Leica Biosystems instruments and reagents, and promoting and selling the LBS product portfolio. The objective is to support customers throughout the journey while growing core reagent and product sales through market intelligence. The role provides applications support and training of Leica Biosystems instruments to customers in the defined territory, ensuring maximum product uptime through optimization of reagents and systems, and retaining customers to generate reagent order intake. The role works with the local Leica Biosystems team to provide optimal customer support, tender responses, sales growth, and margin protection, and aims to increase market share through effective promotion and selling efforts and defending achieved market share against competition.
This is a full-time, permanent position, part of the Field Applications team based in the Naples area, with a fully remote work arrangement. The role requires approximately 50% field presence. You will be part of the Italian Application Consultant team and report to the SEM Advanced Staining & Application Consultant Manager, responsible for application support in the Campania-Puglia area, with occasional travel to other Italian regions as needed.
