Overview

Project Manager Italian Speaker (Late-stage development and permitting) – Quintas Energy. We are seeking a Project Manager with fluency in Italian to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will manage client projects in the late stages of permitting and development in the Italian renewable energy market, coordinate third-party activities, monitor progress against milestones, and maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders. A core part of the role will be reviewing and assessing permitting documentation to identify potential risks, gaps, or opportunities for improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage client projects in the late stages of permitting and development.
  • Review and assess permitting and licensing documentation to ensure compliance and identify potential improvements.
  • Support due diligence, feasibility studies, and advisory work for clients.
  • Coordinate the activities of third parties, ensuring alignment with project objectives, schedules, and budgets.
  • Maintain strong, proactive communication with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, risks, and next steps.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (technical, legal, commercial) to integrate permitting activities into broader project scopes.
  • Promote best practices and continuous improvement across all projects.

Qualifications

Must have :

  • Fluency in Italian and good command of English.
  • Knowledge of Italian energy regulations.
  • Proven experience in managing or supervising permitting processes in Italy, ideally within the renewable energy sector.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and activities simultaneously.
  • Experience working in client-facing roles, building trust and managing expectations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Nice to have :

  • Previous experience in renewable energy (solar, wind, or other technologies).
  • University degree in Law, Engineering, Environmental Sciences or related fields.
